CAMP 17 - 6 DAYS of Girly FABULOSITY

The SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE Camp for Teenage Girls was the ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE

6 Days with just us GIRLSAND the pressure is already on for the next one in Cape Town - Johannesburg and Durban

Camp 17 kicked off in style at CAVENDISH SQUARE where the girls were treated to Strawberry Smoothie “Mocktails” and scrumptuous chocolate brownies. Then laden with “to die for” goodie bags the girls left in the CAMP 17 Bus for our exclusive Camp destination.

WHAT DID WE GET UP TO ??
WOW.. Where to start .. Morning Yoga on the lawn was followed by daily self esteem and self exploration life lessons which tackled all the “minefields” and challenges faced by todays 21st Century Teenage Girl.

Then the daily Challenges begun .. which saw enormous competition between our 4 HOITY TOITY teams
The Lolas
The Hoity Toitys
The Ooh La Loves’
The La Di Da’s

THE CHALLENGES
Camp 17 was all about fabulosity and the challenges were all executed with real style
From the “Who Wants to be a Millionaire Celebrity Quizz” to the “Junk to Funk Fashion Show” to the most elegant “To Dine For” Italian Fiesta Dinner Party - the girls went all out and seriously camped in STYLE.
BUT the highlight had to be the “Get your Fame On Celebrity Concert” which showcased all the girls and would be a”sellout”on Broadway.

THE WORKSHOPS
Thanks to the most phenomenal sponsors HOITY TOITY,YARDLEY OATMEAL,SLOGGI,EVENT SAFE,MARC ANTHONY,KISS,BOSTIK and of course CAVENDISH SQUARE - our girls were also treated to fantastic workshops.
Hair and Make Up brought to us by YARDLEY was with none other than the famous Guru himself “Carl Isaacs”
The Sloggi “My Bra” workshop was a real hit (not to mention the stunning prize of Sloggi Underwear for 1 year which went to one lucky girl)and
Event Safe brought us the Wing Tjun ” Anti Rape ” workshop which empowered all the girls both physically & mentally.
BUT the all time favourite where the girls spent most of their “me time” was at the Pamper Parlour painting their nails in this seasons hottest summer colours and at night sipping hot chocolate-toasting marshmallows and catching up on girly chat time.

TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
The last day came far too quickly and was a treasure chest of emotions-hugs and tears at the thought of leaving all the fun and new friends behind and having to return to the real world again .. BUT armed with the gift of a lifetime experience the girls were all transported in the Camp 17 bus safely back to Cavendish Square and welcomed by Family and Friends ..

ROLL ON THE NEXT CAMP 17 with CODE TEENWE WILL SEE YOU THERE!!
